Terrorism is a real problem, but we must keep it in perspective and not let fear corrupt our decisions.

According to [PolitiFact](http://www.politifact.com/truth-o-meter/statements/2015/oct/05/viral-image/fact-checking-comparison-gun-deaths-and-terrorism-/, there were “301,797 firearm-related deaths in the past decade, compared to 71 deaths from domestic acts of terrorism”.

We spend trillions of dollars fighting terrorism, fueled by fear mongering from the media and politicians and defense contractor lobbying.
