Expand high speed Internet access
America should lead the world both in quality and speed of our networks and in ensuring everyone has access, especially in low income and rural areas.
Our free market was supposed to ensure competition would drive service providers to increase the quality of their products and lower prices, but the market has consistently failed. American Internet access lags behind, and progress has often been blocked by existing monopolies. For example, Internet service providers in California have blocked Google Fiber from accessing utility poles.
