I tested the San Francisco tap water and found perhaps 1ppm chlorine, which was apparently removed by our simple water filter pitcher. I still opted to go with RO/DI water for my aquariums, but it's good to know the starting water doesn't have a ton of chlorine. The city website says it does contain chloramines.
