These are just some of the words that describe Dr. Charles Celano, Republican candidate for Florida’s State House District 80. A graduate of State University of New York at Stony Brook, Dr. Celano earned his medical degree at the University of Noreste. He completed his cardiology training at University of Maryland Hospital in Baltimore. He has served as Chief of Staff at Indian River Memorial Hospital, Chairman of the Cardiology Department at Indian River Memorial Hospital and is currently Medical Director of the Cardiac Rehabilitation Program at IRMC-Duke Heart Center. He is currently the liason to the Duke University Medical System and the Indian River Medical Center open heart program. He is a proud member of the Florida Medical Association, Indian River County Medical Society, American College of Healthcare Executives, and Fellow of the American College of Cardiology. As a doctor, he worked to save lives and knows firsthand how valuable and precious life is and that no one should be denied adequate healthcare.

Running his own private cardiology practice, Dr. Celano knows from personal experience the issues faced by business owners along the Treasure Coast. Holding an MBA from Nova Southeastern University has enabled Dr. Celano to better address many of the concerns that small business owners face. In the State House, Dr. Celano will bring this business expertise to ensure legislation that promotes business and applies common sense conservative principles to the running of the Florida government. Dr. Celano will be beholden to the voters of the Eightieth District and not the special interests.
